Supporting Your Production

As we have endless years of experience with the manufacture of precision engineering, at Crabb Engineering Ltd we are able to offer our expertise in production lines. Any information we have can help you to improve your in house processes and speed up your output as a business. We are also on hand to design out any problematic or high wearing rate parts you have.

Alongside this, we have a standalone department which specialises in the inspection of customer parts. This area features both manual and CNC Mitutoyo CMM machines which can help to inspect. Additionally, we can supply 3D printed reports to offer an insight into your equipment.

Our CNC Machining

In total, we have 22 CNC machine tools which offer 3, 4 and 9 axis with live tooling facilities. These include 2 Doosan mill/turn machines, 9 live tooling and CNC lathes, and 11 CNC vertical milling. We always ensure that our equipment lives up to the expectations of our customers and is able to create the precision machining that you require. All machines that we have at our base are networked for offline programming, using both CAD and Cam packages.

The computer packages and databases that we use can directly download information from CAD design files. Other capabilities include the ability to track purchase orders, material receipts, and job progress. We employ fully time served tradespersons who work with us to offer a service which is high in quality yet cost effective. As a company we understand that offering value for money is more than important, which is why keeping costs affordable is an aim of ours.

Our CNC machinery enables us to manufacture both small and large components and we are able to use a range of different materials to do this.
